It’s time to compare more dolls of similar size – this time it’s Sekiguchi Momoko, Takara Jenny, Pedigree Sindy and Matell Skipper. All 4 dolls are of similar height, but differ in terms of mobility and body structure.

Sindy and Jenny have partially rubber bodies, while Skipper and Momoko are plastic.

Momoko has a BJD body, i.e. it can bend the knees, elbows, wrists, feet, waist and actually the chest. Jenny only bends her knees and elbows – she has wires in her limbs, but you have to be careful not to break them. The skipper does not actually bend the limbs and has very limited movements. However, Sindy is the oldest doll here but she is probably the most mobile here – she can even twine in all directions. Sindy also has wires in her limbs, but her elbows bend much better than Jenny’s. Sindy’s joints are made in an ingenious way – they are made of rubber, thanks to which the doll has a considerable range of movements and considering the fact that the doll is 40 years old, I am very impressed when it comes to her condition – actually, you can’t see wear on her body.
