The first sleeping bags and wraps that I sewed were a misery – too small, too narrow, too thin. The large ones had a ribbon at the bottom to roll them up and tie the sleeping bag, but they were simply too tight for dolls.
Another version of the large sleeping bags was double-sided and, of course, larger. The binding was at the top and the sleeping bags could be turned up and changed their appearance, but I did not like sewing on the combination of a shorter and longer piece of fabric, so I gave up this type of solution
My last attempt with sleeping bags turned out to be a success – this time I was satisfied 🙂 The sleeping bags are of the right size, they are not too tight, they have a pillow filled with a silicone ball and, like the previous sleeping bags, they have ribbons at the bottom so that you can roll up and tie the sleeping bag. The dress is also bigger and cozier.
- Large sleeping bags fit dolls: Barbie, Ken, Steffi Monster High, Bratz, Disney and any other dolls up to 30 cm high.
- The small sleeping bags fit Evi, Tommy, Kelly, Equestria Girls Minis and any other dolls up to about 10.5 cm tall.
- The cushions fit Krissy, Barbie baby dolls and any tiny dolls up to about 6.5 cm tall.
