Betty Teen dolls were produced by Tong in the 70s and 80s as Chinese Barbie clones. I managed to find such a doll on Vinted, it has been on my wish list for some time 🙂 As for the Betty Teen doll’s body, it is very similar to Barbie from that period – rubber legs that bend with a click, movable at the waist, arms do not bend at the elbows. Betty Teen dolls have very pretty faces and also eyelashes. Unfortunately, their hair leaves much to be desired – I haven’t managed to get it to a better condition than smoothing and straightening – it’s like stiff cotton 😅 Nevertheless, I am very happy with the purchase – the doll is charming and her body is in almost perfect condition.
